- All well and good. But the price was too high for the UK market, as well the AT
- staff must know from poor sales. Granted, exposure wasn`t that wide, but with
- Escom itself advertising PCs like mad, along with Intel, Microsoft, PCWorld,
- and other retailers, the Amiga got forgotten Xmas1995.

- We shouldn`t have to do this. I`d be prepared to spend a Saturday at my local
- Escom store, but for the going rate - not for free, even though I might enjoy
- selling Amigas. AT shouldn`t take advantage of "fanatic" Amigans to help sell
- their products.
-
- Apart from the Amiga A1200 not getting the the distributuion it used to, it was
- overpriced. CTW (UK Computer Trade Weekly) quoted a lot of retailers who said
- that the tag for the A1200 was too much. They should have offered something
- withot the software, they said. They should have just cut the price, IMHO. They
- will have to anyway now, to pave way for A1200Plus and PPC. If they don`t,
- well, clearly they are insane ;)
